Reality TV has become a great hit around the world. There are many reality shows now a days. Timothy Sexton the writer of the passage " The Danger of Reality TV"  describes the types of problems these shows may cause on the society. Especially the most fragile ones which are the young people of the society.
Society loves to get entertained. When we see a show that we like we get attached to it. Becomes part of us. Reality TV shows are very atractive to society. It grabs our full attention and without even noticing we are watching the show everyweek. Of course people have different taste of things. Not all society watch the same TV shows. Producers and creators of theses shows know this. That is why there are many types of reality shows.
" American idol" and " Fear Factor" are two different reality TV shows. The TV  show " American idol"   is for people who believe they got talent and want to show there talent live and to audience across the nation and even world wide and win the prize which could be money and even even become famouse an a millionaire. But the audience is the one who pick this new talent. In some cases not even the most talented one wins just because the people love him they pick him as there winner. The peolple buy what they like and its all fair. In the other Reality TV show " Fear Factor" is about dangerous stuff people are willing to do for a bucket of money. Who wouldnt eat bugs for  10,000 or even more money. Even the less bright person in the world would become famouse and rich.
This is the problem Timothy Sexton want to explain to us. Thanks to these shows society sees a free way a short cut to fame and to money. The young ones see these and want what they see on Tv. An easy way to succes. This is a great danger in the long term cause society would drop eduacation and would buy the dreams these show are advertising to them. That even the less bright one can become famouse and rich.
